Joyce Aboussie
Joyce Aboussie is a lifelong businesswoman and entrepreneur who founded Telephone Contact Inc. in 1983. She established our sister company Aboussie & Associates, a dedicated consulting firm that performs research and analysis for organizations in private and public arenas.
Ms. Aboussie’s unique approach to consulting and analysis is informed by a lifelong career in campaign management. Since 1977 she has been involved in over 500 political campaigns, most notably serving at the top of Congressman Dick Gephardt’s campaign for nearly 30 years. Joyce Aboussie’s work in politics is widely commended, and while she is less actively involved in campaign management today, she continues to support candidates and is a prolific fundraiser. Over her career, she has been regarded as a thought leader in politics and strategic consulting.
A longtime supporter of charitable causes, Ms. Aboussie has served on the Board of Directors of ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital since 1983, and in 2006, she became the first woman to serve as Chairperson for the organization.
In addition to her work with St. Jude, Joyce Aboussie is dedicated to improving her community at large. Her contributions to St. Louis and the state of Missouri have made her one of the “Most Influential Businesswomen,” according to the St. Louis Business Journal. She has also been named one of the St. Louis Dispatch’s “25 Most Influential St. Louisans” for her achievements in business, politics, and the community.
